Life Saving Tissue Grafts

Skin is used to treat patients with burns or similar wounds. The skin graft serves as a temporary cover, which decreases pain and prevents infection and fluid loss while the patient’s own skin heals. CTS is the largest non-profit provider of skin grafts to surgeons for severe burn patients in the United States.
Heart valves are used to repair congenital heart defects.
Saphenous veins are used for vascular disease surgeries, such as a heart by-pass surgery.
