BRIAN ROE NAMED DIRECTOR OF COMMUNITY TISSUE SERVICES – INDIANA

Community Tissue Services (CTS) is pleased to welcome Brian Roe as director of Community Tissue Services – Indiana branch.  Roe will oversee all daily operations of the CTS- Indiana branch.  In addition, his responsibilities include personnel decisions, audits, inspections, and educating professionals and the public on all facets of tissue donation.

He has over seven years experience in the tissue banking industry.  Before joining CTS, Roe was the business development manager for Florida Tissue Services/LifeNet Health.  According to Diane Wilson, chief operating officer of CTS, “Brian’s overall expertise in the field of tissue banking will be a strong asset to our organization and I am excited he accepted the position of branch director of the CTS-Indiana operation.”

Roe earned his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science at Chowan University in Murfreesboro, North Carolina and is currently working on his Masters of Health Administration from Canyon College in Boise Idaho.  He is also a certified tissue bank specialist from the American Association of Tissue Banks (AATB) and has been trained as a CGTP (current good tissue practices) internal auditor through AATB.

Community Tissue Services serves the public through recovery, processing and distribution of human tissue donations used for transplantation. Community Tissue Services is composed of eight regional offices and two satellite offices:  Dayton, Ohio (Corporate Office); Fort Worth, Texas; Fresno, California; Indianapolis, Indiana; Memphis, Tennessee; Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; Portland, Oregon; and Toledo, Ohio.  Satellite locations:  Boise, Idaho, and Medford, Oregon.
