Community Tissue Services Names Susan C. Cohrs Donor Referral Center Director

DAYTON, OHIO – Community Tissue Services (CTS) recently announced the promotion of Susan C. Cohrs to Director, Donor Referral Center.  Cohrs will direct all aspects of the donor referral center operations.  Her responsibilities include personnel management, development of departmental goals/performance standards, administration of standard operating procedures, and developing annual budget and effectively managing expenditures. 

According to Diane Wilson, COO of CTS, “the new management position was needed to develop and lead a national call center.  Her expertise in the tissue banking field and educational background will allow her to cultivate the donor referral center program at CTS.”
 
Cohrs has over seven years experience in the tissue banking industry.  In 2002, Cohrs began her career at CTS, where she has served as recovery coordinator and branch supervisor in both the Indianapolis and Dayton office.

Cohrs earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Public Administration from Miami University located in Oxford, Ohio, followed by her Masters Degree in Public Health from Wright State University, Fairborn, Ohio.  She is a Certified Tissue Bank Specialist from the American Association of Tissue Banks.  In 2006, Cohrs completed a Project Management Certification Program from Xavier University Consulting Group.
