Judith E. Woll, M.D. Receives Medallion from Employee for Supporting the Troops
Dayton, OH – Judith E. Woll, M.D., CEO of Community Blood Center/Community Tissue Services (CBC/CTS), was presented the Employer Freedom Salute medal for outstanding support during a Soldier’s mobilization. Each soldier is able to recognize one center of influence (COI). Reg Dawson, Director of Community Tissue Services – Northwest Ohio, presented the medallion to Dr. Woll.
“I am truly honored to accept the medal on behalf of CBC/CTS for supporting Reg while on active duty in Iraq. We are truly proud of his service to our country,” stated Dr. Woll.

Before returning to Ohio, Mr. Dawson was stationed in Iraq from January 2005 through December 2005. Dawson, a Staff Sergeant in the Army National Guard, was a medical provider for the 612th Engineers. According to Dawson, “I am thankful that my employer allowed me to return to my position after a year of military service. CBC/CTS’ support to me and my family was exceptional, and I am very proud to work for an organization that supports our troops.”
