Research and Development

Innovation and Research

Research and Development is an important part of Community Tissue Services. The development and utilization of emerging technologies in tissue engineering and biomechanics assist us in the discovery of innovative solutions that enhance tissue transplant technology. These advanced technologies translate into helping thousands of individuals across the globe whose surgeons are using the most up-to-date products and procedures that produce superior results.

Also our team provides study development, experimental design, data analysis and final reporting for our clients. The centerpiece is a materials testing system (Electropuls E3000; Instron) for biomechanical, tensile and biaxial tests on a variety of tissue types and materials. We also can supply most musculoskeletal tissues for testing and procure other tissues on request.
