CTS-California, an accredited member of the American Association of Tissue Banks, serves an area of five counties consisting of 30 area hospitals and surgery centers.
CTS-California, with the support of its five other branch locations, supports 100% of the skin needs for its area's local burn unit that cares for over 1200 patients a year.
Working collaboratively with the local organ and eye bank, the California branch is committed to ongoing minority educational opportunities for the public and health care professionals. CTS-California also provides support to donor families through events such as The Donor Family Gathering, "Candlelight Vigil", which is held annually to honor the donors and their families for the gift of life.
